Those who volunteer have a
variety of jobs besides their work with the fire district. They
haul and deliver steel pipe, help keep a waste treatment plant running
properly, protect the public at another fire department, provide retail
store security, manage building projects, produce food cereals, service
clerk, construction work, teach college classes, process corn, service
manager and a variety of other jobs.

Vehicle driving and operations, water pump operation and control, water
hauling and drop-tank management, site control and personnel safety,
traffic routing around accident scenes, hazardous materials first
response actions, medical situation first responses, fire situation
combustible materials protection, search & rescue, storm watch and
many other activities.
